As Chairman and Global CEO, Rico drives global excellence and continued growth throughout The BlocPartners network, with a specific commercial focus on established markets (ie, USA, Canada, Europe, China, and Japan). Rico’s strengths come from the diversity of his experience and the extent of his curiosity. Trained as a physiologist, Rico has extensive experience in clinical research, and worked as Associate Medical Director for Pharmacia during the HIV/AIDS crisis of the 80s. Later, at Lowe McAdams, Rico met his future partner and wife, Susan Miller. Together, in 2000, they founded The CementWorks, now known as The Bloc/The BlocPartners USA.
